These handcrafted bracelets use recycled glass and locally sourced sculptured stone. They are made on a fair trade basis in a small village on the outskirts of Kumasi, central Ghana in West Africa, which has developed a tradition of bead and jewellery making, which the whole community is involved in.

Many of the beads have been either sculptured or hand painted with designs traditional to the Ashanti peoples of this part of West Africa. Each one is completely original and comes with elasticated band which allows the bracelet to be worn by a variety of women’s wrist sizes in the small to medium bracket. Not suitable for larger wrist sizes.
