These are hand blown exquisitely made and finished Friendships Glass Globes. Traditionally the globes and other shapes were made at the end of the glass blowers shift to use up the glass in the bottom of the furnace. The blowers were then allowed to take the finished pieces home and they would give them as gifts of friendship to family and friends.
These globes are 8cms round and come in a cardboard gift presentation box. They make a beautiful gift and are best hung in or close to a window or light source where they catch the light and show off the beautiful array of colours.
