This white wash mango wood 5 hook wall hanger is hand made and painted by skilled and traditionally trained craftsmen in Northern India on a fair trade basis. The wood is sustainably sourced mango wood from government plantations.
In India elephants are respected for wisdom, strength and incredible memory and are a popular form of decoration both on ornaments and textiles. Wood carving skills are passed down from generation to generation, supporting and providing employment to these traditional artisans and their families
