Fairly traded Swazi candle made in Swaziland, South Africa. These unique handcrafted candles are inspired by the ancient arts of Millefiori glass bead techniques produced it Swaziland since 1981. Artisans apply beautiful and colourful patterns to the outer shell of the candle using a hard wax veneer.
As the candle burns the soft inner core creates a translucent lens that allows the light to spread throughout the entire candle enabling the exterior patterns to glow as the candle burns.
The candles can be reused by placing a votive or tea light candle inside the wax veneer outer shell. This can be done once the candle has burned down over the depth of a t light, including the flame.
Our range of the designs are renowned throughout the world.
